Since 2018, Muslim Creative Wellness has provided Northern Virginia area clients with a healing and relaxing way to exercise their mind and body. Our team of Creative Wellness specialists have a true passion for creativity and health and believe that by supporting positive change through Art and spiritual treatment, clients will become truly aware and able to live life mindfully feeling more joy and having deeper connections.
Saliha holds a Masters in Global Policy in Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign, a BA in Anthropology from the University of California Riverside and a BA in teaching at California State University San Marcos. Her passion for learning led her to a career as a primary school teacher. After teaching in the United States for a few years, she became interested in teaching internationally, which resulted in her teaching in the UAE, South America, and Turkey. In addition to teaching, she has been an artist for over two decades. While teaching in the UAE she started a program to help women heal and cope with being away from their families through the medium of art. In 2016, Saliha moved to the DC metropolitan area and has since continued working in education to build community and bring people together and create meaningful connections through the platform of art.
Kiyah Latif holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Kaiser University. She owns a Government IT Consulting firm based out of Northern Virginia. For the past 10 years, she has spent her time encouraging young women and entrepreneurs to pursue careers in Information Technology. Kiyah is a long-time advocate for human rights, she is a member of Burma Task Force, spreads awareness for human injustices, and Lobbies for Burmese and Rohingya rights on Capital Hill. In addition to being a business owner and human rights advocate, she's passionate about fitness, goals and living a an overall healthy lifestyle from the inside out.
